Talent in Transition

A plan for the transition

A proposed support schedule from campaign closeout through the next chapter. Specific sessions and dates will appear in the events section as they are confirmed.

Stage 1 · Before campaigns end

Prepare

Distribute the transition checklist, invite participants and partners, and confirm initial support sessions.

Stage 2 · First month after campaigns

Stabilize and connect

Prioritize benefits navigation, résumé support, peer check-ins, networking, and a career fair.

Stage 3 · Following two to three months

Advance

Offer employer conversations, interview practice, mentorship, training, and follow-up on what people still need.

What success should look like.

Useful help with immediate needs. Stronger professional connections. Interviews and new opportunities. Sustainable next steps in democracy work.

We aim to learn from voluntary follow-up at 30, 60, and 90 days, including what support was useful and what remains missing. Event attendance alone does not tell the whole story.
